- This role will head sales for the Government business across product lines. - To work on tender submissions and co-ordination with cross functional teams (QA/QC, Finance, Production, Marketing and Sales Team). - Analysing the requirements within the tenders. - Being present for tender openings both technical and commercial bid. - Filling the tenders in various government departments with prior analysis of competitors strategies and handling negotiation with profitable sales. - Looking after the need of the key customers & ensuring return on investments to maximize the profit of the region. - Growing the current business and strengthening penetration for the existing markets. - Planning, forecasting, and budgeting along with complete responsibility of running sales operations. - Devising short term & long term strategy to optimize the level of satisfaction of internal as well as external customers across the territories. - Participating in the evolution of annual marketing plans particularly with respect to key customer, KOLs, new products, existing products, doctor segment strategies and ensuring their execution in collaboration with marketing. - Identifying and networking with financially strong and reliable channel partners\distributors, resulting in deeper market penetration and reach. - Visualize market opportunities and derive strategies through various analysis and data and accordingly implement them to strengthen market share of various brands and overall positioning of the company. - Building a territory sales infrastructure for effective customer coverage. - Relationship building & management with key decision makers, influencers and stakeholders in organizations, Ministry of Finance, Armed Forces, ESIS and CGHS. - Responsible for demand forecasting & managing inventory pipeline; coordinating with stockists and Stores to ensure optimum inventory levels for ensure timely deliveries to the customers.

- MBA with 15+ years of experience is a must for this role. - Strong pharmaceutical background. - Strong business orientation and ability to scale up operations. - Strong communication skills. - Excellent network and connects within the pharma industry and government bodies. - Need to come from a fast paced and growth oriented platform. - Strong with People Management. Ability to build, motivate and manage a team effectively. - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high degree of multi-tasking. - Collaboratively working with other business.
